With plans to scale up by an additional 200 hectares early this year, KD Green Farm has increased its total cultivation area to 300 hectares.
In addition to expanding its banana-growing acreage, KD Green Farm (a member of KDI Holdings) also intends to invest in modern equipment to boost crop productivity, with a particular focus on improving management, care, and production processes.
The company is pursuing a closed-loop banana farming model—from cultivation to harvesting—while producing organic microbial fertilizers from rejected bananas, banana cores, and trunks to nourish subsequent crops. According to a KD Green Farm representative, the KDA high-tech agricultural project aims to build an organic banana farm in the future, alongside efforts to expand its distribution markets. This shift not only ensures fruit quality and sales performance but also contributes to increasing income and improving the quality of life for local communities.

KD Green Farm currently operates a banana plantation spanning over 100 hectares under KDI Holdings.
The KDA banana-growing project, implemented by KD Green Farm in Vu Bon commune, Krông Pắc district, Đắk Lắk province, seeks to help local residents escape poverty. Covering 100 hectares, the project cultivates Cavendish bananas originating from South America known for their strong disease resistance, fast growth, and rich flavor.
Targeting the premium domestic and export agricultural segments, KDA is meticulously invested from seed selection to planting and harvesting using advanced technologies. Beyond substantial investments in seedlings, cultivation techniques, human resources, and infrastructure, KD Green Farm also incorporates modern technologies such as automatic pulley systems and Israeli drip irrigation to elevate the position of Vietnamese agricultural products in global markets.

KDA-branded banana bunches are produced through a closed-loop process, meeting export-quality standards required by demanding markets.
In 2019, KD Green Farm harvested high banana yields and exported them to five major Chinese ports: Tianjin, Guangxi, Guangdong, Shanghai, and Dalian. It also became the only enterprise in Đắk Lắk to export bananas through official channels to China, while gradually expanding into other regional markets such as the Philippines, Laos, and Cambodia. Meeting a series of strict standards, KDA’s premium bananas have continued to enter high-demand markets including South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore in recent years.
As part of its long-term strategy, in addition to investments in agriculture, hospitality real estate, STEM education, luxury interior design, entertainment, and yachting, KDI Holdings devotes substantial commitment to advancing high-tech agriculture. This is a sector actively encouraged by the Government to promote sustainable development and enhance international competitiveness. The Group expects this field to become a breakthrough area driven by high-tech applications, contributing significantly to rural development by leveraging regional advantages and ensuring green, clean, and sustainable socioeconomic growth.
