This was not just a concert, but also a presentation of a new cultural and artistic landmark of the Pearl Bay.
Thousands of Spectators Returning to Their Roots
Inspired by the fairyland legend, La Tiên Show – The Cội guided the audience through three chapters:
- Chapter 1: The legendary story of the fairyland – the origin of sacredness and prosperity within.
- Chapter 2: The sprouting of forests, the shaping of mountains, and the freedom of the sea: representing the spirit of liberty of the land, backed by the Fairy Mountains and facing the vast ocean.
- Chapter 3: Awakening from the primal sounds of nature – from earth touching water, water calling the forest, and the forest resonating with humanity.
The narrative combined traditional folk music with contemporary elements, creating an emotional artistic journey where millennia-old traditions meet modern spirit in the heart of the “Land of Fairies and Pearl Bay.”
The program featured top artists including Tùng Dương, Hoàng Thùy Linh, Nguyễn Trần Trung Quân, Bùi Lan Hương, Double2T, and Oplus Band, under the artistic direction of musician Huy Tuấn and general director Louis Lê.
Elaborately staged performances utilized cutting-edge technology, including 3D mapping, visual art, live-action art, and LED mesh lighting, offering a multi-layered experience where music and imagery converged in a vivid spectacle, celebrating the richness of Vietnamese culture.
Audiences didn’t just hear the music—they saw the culture and felt the national spirit through surreal visual storytelling.
Louis Lê, the show’s general director, shared: “As artists, we leave behind works, while KDI Holdings leaves behind iconic landmarks. But both share the same aspiration: to preserve and promote Vietnam’s cultural essence and pass it on to future generations.”
Conductor Huy Tuấn added: “We aimed to create a space where everyone lives within the story of their roots, experiencing the continuity from ancestors to today. Each artist becomes a cultural ambassador.”
